Description
Height:54cm(21.26in), Height:33cm(12.99in)Sandstone deity head in classic Gandhara style. The sculpture wears an ornate crown decorated with serpent motif on top. It features an urna on the forehead, gently closed eyes and moustache, conveying solemn serenity. Beast-shaped earrings are carved on both sides with meticulous details. Natural weathering covers the sandstone surface. The artwork combines Hellenistic sculptural techniques with Central Asian Buddhist aesthetics, representing precious cultural heritage along the ancient Silk Road. Presented with a modern display stand for exhibition and collection.
