Height:68cm(26.77in), Width:48cm(18.90in), Thick:35cm(13.78in)Stone Buddha statue with painted decoration and gilding. Shakyamuni sits in full lotus posture, right hand forming Abhaya mudra. Tight spiral hair, dignified gentle face with urna on forehead. The robe is inscribed with Buddhist sutra texts in ink. A attendant figure is carved beside the Buddha with coloured foliage ornaments. The aged gilding and polychrome layers create profound antique texture. Integrating sculpture, painting and sutra calligraphy, this is a rare and distinctive stone Buddhist artwork.
