Long:908cm(357.48in) Width:45.5cm(17.91in)Silk composite scroll of calligraphy and painting. The frontispiece bears imperial calligraphy "Divine Craftsmanship" by the Qianlong Emperor, covered with Qing imperial collection seals. The core work is Wang Xizhi??s famous running script letter Rapid Snow Clearing, featuring mild, fluent brushwork embodying the elegant aesthetic of Jin calligraphy. Interspersed landscape and plum blossom paintings enrich the scroll. Numerous ancient connoisseurs?? colophons are attached at the end, preserved in original antique silk mounting. As one of the most celebrated masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy, this scroll integrates literature, calligraphy and painting, possessing profound artistic and historical value.
