Long:1193cm(469.69in) Width:35.5cm(13.98in)Line-drawing genre scroll on silk. The frontispiece bears title "Along the River During Qingming Festival" inscribed by Zhang Zhao. Following the composition of Zhang Zeduan??s original masterpiece, the scroll depicts bustling Bianjing waterfront scenery, boats, bridges, buildings and crowds with meticulous brushwork, representing exquisite Wu School painting style. A large number of ancient scholar colophons are attached at the end, preserved in original antique silk mounting. As a famous genre painting theme, this scroll integrates architectural, landscape and figure painting, possessing both folk historical and artistic value
