Description
Long:1043cm(410.63in) Width:59.3cm(23.35in)Silk Buddhist long scroll. The frontispiece bears imperial calligraphy "All Dharmas Return to One" inscribed by the Qianlong Emperor, stamped with Qing imperial seals. The opening section features gilded painting of Buddha preaching surrounded by disciples. The middle part contains Tibetan scripture and Chinese Buddhist sutra written in regular script, with many ancient collector colophons attached at the end. Preserved in original orange antique silk mounting. As a leading imperial Buddhist painter of Qing dynasty, Ding Guanpeng adopted rigorous court painting style. This scroll integrates painting, religious texts and collection records, representing distinguished Qing court Buddhist art
