The cup is hand-painted with Baroque-style oil painting scenes of religious and mythological narratives, ideal for tea or coffee appreciation as well as fine collection.The German Biedermeier style originated in 1815 as an artistic movement of the bourgeoisie. It integrated the opulent decorative elements of former aristocratic taste into the refined pastoral aesthetic favored by the middle class. Emerging alongside economic transformation, this artistic renewal spanned literature, music, furniture, household goods, sculpture, porcelain and many other fields.
