Weight:800g(1.76lb) H:21cm(8.27in) L:13cm(5.12in) W:9cm(3.54in) This is a gilded bronze statue of Zhong Kui Subduing Demons from the Ming Dynasty. Cast from fine bronze with overall gilding, the statue depicts Zhong Kui with glaring eyes and a flowing beard, raising a sword in his right hand, holding a treasure in his left, and stepping on an evil spirit with one foot. A powerful and vivid work, it is a classic combination of Ming Dynasty folk statuary and bronze carving craftsmanship, embodying the traditional meaning of exorcising evil, bringing good fortune, and protecting the home.
