H:25cm(9.84in) W:15cm(5.91in) Weight:2090g(4.61lb)This is a Song Dynasty Guan Yao celadon vase with tubular handles, one of the representative forms of the period. Modeled after a Han Dynasty touhu wine vessel, it has a square mouth, long neck, hanging belly, and square foot, with symmetric tubular handles on the neck. The entire vase is covered in powdery celadon glaze, which is even and warm, featuring the famous ??gold and iron thread?? crackles that embody the refined aesthetic of Guan ware. The rim is gilded, protecting the easily worn edge and adding a touch of luxury. This was an imperial display vessel, valued both for its history and collectibility
