Description
H:18.0cm(7.09in) W:16.0cm(6.30in) Weight:3360g(7.41lb)This brush pot is carved from a single piece of dark green Hetian jasper, square in shape with angled feet. The body is fully decorated in high-relief with a landscape scene featuring "Scholars under the Pine Trees", with sturdy pine branches, relaxed figures, and layered rockeries. Poetic inscriptions and seals are inlaid on the walls, the rim is decorated with meander patterns, and the bottom mark reads "Qianlong Imperial Appreciation". The deep green jade color and exquisite carving make it a prominent decorative piece used in the study room of the Qing Dynasty court, with extremely high craftsmanship and collection value.
