Description
L:49.0cm(19.29in) Weight:870g(1.92lb)This pair of waist knives is imperial military equipment used in the Qing Dynasty court. The handles are carved from Hetian white jade, the blades are made of whole Hetian jasper, inlaid with gold edges, and the guards are exquisitely decorated. One blade is engraved with gold-filled Qianlong imperial poems, the other is plain, and the pommels are carved with flower patterns. The jade is warm and fine, and the gold inlay has a mellow patina. It is a classic form of imperial ceremonial military equipment for Qing emperors, with extremely high historical, craftsmanship and collection value.
