Description
H:44.0cm(17.32in) W:29.5cm(11.61in) Weight:12850g(28.33lb)This statue is cast in bronze and gilded. The main figure Manjushri Bodhisattva sits in lotus position on a lotus pedestal, wearing a treasure crown with a compassionate and solemn expression, hands in mudra, decorated with necklaces and bracelets, holding the wisdom sword on shoulders. Two attendant Bodhisattvas stand on both sides. The whole statue is integrated with a large arched hollow halo fully decorated with scrolling lotus, divine beasts and floral patterns, and a multi-layered Sumeru-style pedestal with exquisite carvings and mellow gilding. There is a mark reading "Made in Yongle Period of Ming Dynasty" in the upper right corner. It is a masterpiece of Ming Dynasty court Tibetan Buddhist statues, with extremely high historical, artistic and religious worship value.
