Description
H:46.0cm(18.11in) W:32.0cm(12.60in) Weight:14950g(32.96lb)This statue is cast in bronze and gilded. Four-Armed Guanyin sits in lotus position on an Ao fish (dragon turtle) divine beast, wearing a five-leaf treasure crown with a compassionate and solemn expression, decorated with necklaces and bracelets. The four arms hold implements such as treasure vase and Dharma wheel, with smooth natural folds on the robes. The divine beast is mighty and vivid, and the lotus pedestal is exquisitely carved with full and regular patterns, with mellow and warm gilding. There is a mark reading "Made in Yongle Period of Ming Dynasty" in the upper right corner. It is a classic form of court Tibetan Buddhist statue in the Ming Dynasty, with extremely high historical, artistic and religious worship value.
