H:5.5cm (2.17in) D:21cm (8.27in) Weight:290g (0.64lb)This is a Song Dynasty Ding Yao white glaze bowl, a representative type of the period. It has a Douli (funnel) form with an open mouth, sloping belly, and small foot, covered in warm ivory-white glaze with the characteristic ??tear-drop?? marks of Ding ware. The interior is molded with floral scroll patterns in full, clear lines. The rim is gilded, protecting the easily worn edge and adding a touch of luxury. This was a daily or display vessel for the imperial nobility, valued both for use and collectibility
