Description
H:22.0cm(8.66in) W:14.5cm(5.71in) Weight:1450g(3.20lb)This statue is cast in bronze and gilded. Sakyamuni Buddha sits in lotus position on a double lotus pedestal, with a high spiral hair bun and a compassionate, solemn expression. He wears a right-shoulder-exposed monk’s robe with smooth natural folds, hands in Dhyana mudra. The lotus pedestal is exquisitely decorated, with full and warm gilding. There is a mark in the upper right corner reading "Made in Yongle Period of Ming Dynasty". It is a classic form of court Tibetan Buddhist statue in the Ming Dynasty, with extremely high historical, artistic and religious value??
