Description

H:26cm(10.24in) W:10.5cm(4.13in) Weight:530g(1.17lb)This standing figure is a masterpiece of Jiading School bamboo carving in the Qing Dynasty. Carved from high-quality aged bamboo root, it features a warm jujube-red patina after years of precipitation. It adopts the round carving technique to carve the image of Zhongli Quan, one of the Eight Immortals, with a peaceful expression, smooth clothes lines, holding a palm-leaf fan, standing on auspicious clouds, and a vivid shape. As a desk ornament for Qing literati, it symbolizes "Taoist nature and good luck", with extremely high artistic, historical and collection value.
