TANG SANCAI INLAID AUSPICIOUS BEAST PATTERN BEAST FOOT JARS

H:30.0cm(11.81in) W:25.0cm(9.84in)This jar is a classic display vessel of Tang Dynasty Sancai pottery, featuring a short neck, full shoulder, bulging belly, and three auspicious beast feet. The entire body is based on a sauce-red glaze, with running deer patterns appliqu??d in openwork on the abdomen, interspersed with appliqu??d flowers and Ruyi cloud head patterns. It is glazed with Sancai colors such as green, yellow, blue, and brown, with natural flowing glaze and gorgeous colors, embodying the typical characteristics of Tang Sancai: "low-temperature lead glaze, colorful and brilliant". The three beast feet are shaped majestically, in the image of Tang Dynasty guardian auspicious beasts, symbolizing warding off evil and welcoming blessings; the running deer pattern symbolizes "promotion and good fortune". This jar, with a full shape, exquisite decoration, and pure glaze, is a masterpiece of Tang Dynasty Sancai appliqu?? craftsmanship, holding significant historical, artistic and collectible value.
