Description
Height:4.5cm (1.77in) , Diameter:6.7cm (2.64in) Scholar?studio water?pot with contracted mouth, bulbous body and foot?ring, compact and well?proportioned. Exterior fully painted in under?glaze?blue with scholar?rocks, bamboo and blossoms; textured rock?painting with fine gradation paired with slender bamboo sprigs in tranquil blue tones. Base bears six?character regular?script under?glaze?blue imperial mark ??Da Qing Xian?Feng Nian Zhi??. Rare surviving Xianfeng official?ware scholar?studio object, a fine late?Qing literary antique.
