Description
Height:10cm (3.94in) , Diameter:12.5cm (4.92in) Straight?cylindrical brush pot with white?glazed interior. Exterior features deep black ground decorated in vivid green enamel. A powerful striding dragon winds through luxuriant interlocking lotus scrolls, with meticulously rendered scales and claws. The rim is framed by scrolling foliage, and the lower body is bordered by vertical striped band. Striking colour contrast between lustrous green enamel and jet?black ground demonstrates sophisticated craftsmanship. Base bears six?character underglaze?blue mark ??Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi??. A magnificent scholarly?studio vessel of the Kangxi reign, elegant and luxurious.
