Height:65cm(25.59in), Long:46cm(18.11in)This brocade thangka is mounted in a wooden frame. Shakyamuni Buddha is weaved with golden threads, seated in lotus position with the Earth-Touching Mudra. Two attendant disciples hold offerings beside him, surrounded by elaborate floral and cloud patterns. The inscription records its connection with Jokhang Temple. The Buddha image symbolizes enlightenment, peace, wisdom and blessings
