The blade has double ridges, decorated with gold beaded lines, inscribed characters and turquoise inlay. The guard and hilt are ornamented with gold cloud and beast patterns, while the pommel features high-relief coiled dragon with gold inlay. Well forged with layered ancient patina, it adopts multiple sophisticated crafts. Such intact large swords for nobles are very rare.
