The obverse features a bust portrait of Yuan Shikai in marshal uniform and tall tasseled hat, with sharply defined epaulets, sash and chest medal decorations. The rim is lined with fine bead denticles, the coin retains abundant original mint luster and a smooth field, featuring full layered portrait relief. It is a classic scarce portrait silver coin of the Republic of China
