Description
H:7cm W:15.3cm Imperial famille rose bowl of Kangxi reign, Qing Dynasty, with flared mouth, curved belly and short ring foot, round and dignified shape. The whole exterior is covered with delicate pink ground glaze, decorated with four begonia-shaped window panels. Each window takes turquoise green as base, painted with four seasonal flowers: peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and plum blossom. Phoenix-tail scroll grass fills the space between panels with rich layered colors.Four seasonal flowers symbolize peace and prosperity all year round; windowed composition is a classic decorative style of court famille rose wares in Qing Dynasty. Clean white glaze covers the base, stamped with vermilion square seal script mark "Kangxi Imperial Manufacture", exclusive imperial palace mark. The vessel has smooth mild glaze and delicate soft enamel filling, elegant color contrast between pink ground and turquoise green. It is a representative early imperial famille rose porcelain of Qing, with great value for court famille rose craft research, four-season flower auspicious culture and antique display collection
