Height:12.5cm Width:25cm Weight:3880gThe whole surface is coated with mellow chestnut-gold aged patina with layered hues, formed naturally through centuries of incense burning and handling. Old incense residue remains inside the basin. A square raised seal inscription at the base reads Made in the Xuande Reign of the Great Ming in bold, neat regular script with deep, sharp casting.Combining Shang-Zhou bronze ornamentation and Ming Xuande censer silhouette, this burner carries the solemnity of ritual ware and the elegance of study ornament. It was traditionally used for ancestral worship in halls and incense appreciation in studios, representing a classic archaistic bronze censer form
