Recognized as one of the most legendary art figures of the 20th century, he was not only a pioneer of Pop Art but also a filmmaker, writer, rock composer and publisher – a star artist celebrated throughout New York’s social and art circles.Warhol created over ten thousand artworks in his lifetime.
