The centre of the outer lid is adorned with a fine marquetry panel hand-assembled by a master furniture craftsman, depicting musical scores and instruments of the Muses alongside floral motifs of the Flower Goddess from Greek mythology.Upon opening the lid, a lithograph of classical architecture and noble ladies is revealed, inscribed with twelve renowned aria titles (12 AIRS) in elegant English calligraphic script.The interior houses an intricately engineered brass toothed roller, a manual winding lever, a twelve-tune dial scale, and a manual gear shift lever with English instruction markings.The twelve arias performed by the music box are melodious, delightful heavenly melodies, each playing at an extended duration.
