It took Meissen porcelain as its model and mentor, and recruited many master porcelain craftsmen from Meissen in its early years.As another national treasure-level porcelain manufactory of Germany with prestige equal to Meissen, KPM adheres strictly to fully handmade forming and hand painting. Its design repertoire spans diverse artistic periods, including Rococo, Neoclassical, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, Modern Art and contemporary styles. The official KPM hallmark is based on the royal scepter of the King of Prussia.
