L:350CM (137.80IN) W:27CM (10.63IN) THIS FINE-LINE HEAVY-COLOR FIGURE LONG SCROLL ON ANCIENT SILK IS EQUIPPED WITH ORIGINAL DARK GREEN SILK BROCADE MOUNTING AND WOVEN RIBBON TIE. THE FRONTISPIECE BEARING FOUR LARGE RUNNING SCRIPT CHARACTERS MASTERLY SKILL & PROFOUND ATTAINMENT WAS INSCRIBED BY ZHOU ZHILI. THE SCROLL DEPICTS SEGMENTED SCENES OF ANCIENT LITERATI AND LADIES PLAYING GO, PAINTING, FEASTING AND HOLDING FANS DURING ELEGANT GATHERINGS, RENDERED WITH EXQUISITE LINEWORK AND ELEGANT AGED PIGMENT. POETIC COLOPHONS FOR APPRECIATION WERE WRITTEN BY MANY MING AND QING LITERATI INCLUDING XIANG SHENGMO, WANG ZHUAN AND GAO SHIQI, WITH COMPLETE CLEAR PROVENANCE
