Carved from high-quality aged bamboo root, it features a warm and mellow jujube-red patina after years of precipitation. It adopts the high-relief and openwork techniques to fully carve the ancient figure travel scene, with distinct layers and a strong three-dimensional sense. The figures have different expressions, smooth clothes lines, and are accompanied by pines and rocks, with a full and vivid composition. As a top-level study treasure for Qing literati, it symbolizes "rising step by step and good luck", with extremely high artistic, historical and collection value.
