Description

H:136cm(53.54in) W:199cm(78.35in)This dragon robe is a national treasure of Qing Dynasty court attire. With an apricot-yellow kesi base, it adopts the "passing warp and breaking weft" kesi technique to meticulously weave nine five-clawed golden dragons and auspicious motifs. The robe is decorated with colorful auspicious clouds, Eight Treasures patterns, sea water waves and standing water patterns at the hem. The shape is dignified with gorgeous colors and extremely exquisite craftsmanship. As the ritual attire worn by emperors for sacrifices, court meetings and other grand ceremonies in the Qing Dynasty, it is the supreme symbol of imperial power and status, with extremely high historical, artistic and collection value.
