Description
H:68cmW:13cmWeight:1090g This is a gilt-bronze Buddhist staff of the Tang Dynasty. The entire body is gilded, with the shaft engraved with interlocking lotus patterns, and the head decorated with a lotus pedestal, dharma wheel, and rings. It is a superb example of Tang Buddhist art and metalworking craftsmanship.
