H:25cm(9.84in)H:15cm(5.91in)This is a fragmented head sculpture of crowned Bodhisattva carved from fine pure white stone of Tang Dynasty. The marble texture is pure white, delicate and smooth.It wears a multi-petal exquisite crown with central oval pearl pattern on top, surrounded by dense delicate bead floral ornaments with neat layered crown edge. Well-preserved original multi-layer traces of ancient gilding, vermilion red and black mineral pigment remain on the crown with elegant ancient colorful charm.
