Carved from top-quality Hetian green jade, it is shaped into a cicada with gold-inlaid geometric patterns. The lines are powerful and smooth. The jade is calcified to a warm greenish-brown color with thick patina after thousands of years. The cicada is a symbol of "nobility, rebirth and great success" in the Han Dynasty, serving as a personal ornament for Han Dynasty nobles, with extremely high historical, artistic and collection value
