Dimensions: Cup height 5.5cm; small plate diameter 14.5cmPlace of Origin: S??vres Royal Porcelain Manufactory, France (1740-present)Description: This set of early 20th-century French Royal S??vres porcelain cup and saucer, in the Empire style associated with Napoleon, consists of one cup and one saucer. Both are decorated with embossed golden palm leaves (symbolizing victory and glory) and green laurel wreaths, with the rim and handle accented with gold. It is an extremely elegant tea/coffee cup and saucer set.Produced partly as national gifts and partly sold to collectors, they are rarely seen in circulation. As a result, S??vres porcelain has long been cherished by many dignitaries and museums, and remains a coveted art collection pursued by high-end Western porcelain enthusiasts.
