HETIAN WHITE JADE WITH GOLD INLAID LID JAR OF THE QING DYNASTY

H:15.0cm(5.91in) W:16.5cm(6.50in) Weight:540g(1.19lb)This jar is a top-tier palace jade carving of the Qing Dynasty, carved from a single piece of top-grade Hetian white jade. The jade is warm, delicate, and full of oil luster. Both sides of the jar are carved with double dragon-head ring handles. The jar body and cover are carved in low relief with kui-dragon patterns and scroll patterns. The rim and foot are inlaid with gold edges, inlaid with various gems such as red, blue, green, and decorated with enamel, with superb craftsmanship. The kui-dragon pattern is a classic pattern of ancient ritual vessels, symbolizing imperial authority, making it a masterpiece of the integration of Qing Dynasty palace jade carving and gold craftsmanship, with extremely high historical, artistic and collection value.
