A GILDED GILDED GILDED GILDED GILDED STATUE OF THE BUDDHA MOTHER IN THE MING DYNASTY

H:40cmW:28cmWeight:10050g This is a gilt-bronze seated statue of Ushnishavijaya (Buddha of Longevity) inlaid with gems. The main deity sits in full lotus posture on a double-layered lotus throne with eight arms, wearing a crown inlaid with coral and turquoise, and a compassionate and solemn expression. The main hands are in anjali mudra, while the others hold ritual items such as a water vase, bow and arrow, and implements. Adorned with necklaces and armlets, the statue features exquisite gem inlay and craftsmanship, making it an important icon in Tibetan Buddhism symbolizing longevity, wisdom, and spiritual accomplishment.
