The white enamel part of the dial is adorned with twelve black Arabic numerals, a dial signature, and two Breguet-style copper hands. Through the transparent dial, the movement??s openwork tri-color gold-carved animated figure mechanism is visible ?? two bell-ringing cherubs standing on the cornucopia of Tyche (Goddess of Fortune), and a Cupid cherub guarding a bow and arrow alongside doves and butterflies. The pocket watch chimes on the hour and quarter-hour, with the two cherubs automatically ringing the bells. The back of the pocket watch is decorated with a miniature enamel portrait ?? a young French nobleman in 18th-century attire. The movement of the pocket watch adopts a fusee lever escapement. Upon inspection, the institution has confirmed a gold content of 15.6K.
