A LARGE PLUM VASE WITH BLUE AND WHITE CLOUD AND DRAGON PATTERNS, MING WANLI INSCRIPTION

H:65cmD:30cm This is a large blue and white meiping vase with cloud dragon patterns, marked with "Da Ming Wan Li Nian Zhi" (Made in the Wanli reign of the Great Ming). Featuring a slender and full shape, it bears the reign mark on the neck, vivid blue and white dragons winding through scroll patterns on the body, and ruyi cloud and banana leaf patterns on the shoulder and foot, a typical imperial blue and white porcelain with dragon motifs from the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.
