Weight:5000g(11.02lb) H:36.6cm(14.41in) W:25cm(9.84in) T:13.6cm(5.35in) This is a Qing Dynasty gilt-bronze statue of Palden Lhamo (Shri Devi), the most important guardian deity of the Gelug school in Tibetan Buddhism. Depicted in a wrathful form with three faces and six arms, a towering flame crown, riding a galloping horse, and with guardian and treasure motifs carved on the base, the statue retains its fierce majesty despite worn gilding. Palden Lhamo is revered for protecting the Dharma, subduing obstacles, and guarding the Tibetan plateau. This work embodies the classic style and exquisite craftsmanship of Tibetan Buddhist protective deity art.
